Colour Vision Testing
Colour vision deficiencies occur at a rate of 8% in males and 0.5% in females. Very few of these people are completely colour blind; most have a reduced ability to recognise or discriminate colours and see colours differently from those who have normal colour vision.
We can determine the extent or severity of the colour vision defect and whether people with colour vision defects meet the colour vision standards for occupations such as pilots, electricians, mariners and heavy vehicle drivers.
Farnsworth Lantern, Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue and Ishihara are colour vision tests we offer to diagnose both congenital and acquired colour vision defects.
