Aviation and Defence Personnel
Our Ophthalmologists are Designated Aviation Ophthalmologists (DAO’s), and are certified to conduct eye examinations for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
They are also authorised to conduct eye examinations for all types of Australian Defence Personnel (Army, Airforce and Navy).

Our Ophthalmologists are Designated Aviation Ophthalmologists (DAO’s), and are certified to conduct eye examinations for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
Defence
Our Ophthalmologists are authorised to conduct eye examinations for all types of Australian Defence Personnel (Army, Airforce and Navy). This is for both initial candidates applying for entry into the Australian Defence Force, and for existing defence force members.
